Khenpo Yeshe’s Teaching at YGY during January 2010

Khenpo Rinpoche Yeshe Gyaltsen was born in Riwoche, Kham, in Eastern Tibet. He entered the local monastery at a young age and received extensive training as a Tibetan Doctor, whilst performing several retreats. He came to Nepal to study with H.H. Dilgo Khyentse in 1985 and become one of his close disciples. He completed his studies, whilst teaching extensively at the Shechen University in Nepal, as directed by H.H. Dilgo Khyentse in 1998 and was enthroned as Khenpo by Kyabje Trulshik Rinpoche in 2002.

In year 2001 he was appointed as the principle teacher to the young re-incarnation of H.H. Dilgo Khyentse.

All teachings will be comprehensively translated into English by Ven. Tenzin Jamchen (Lama Sean). He is long-time student of Khenpo Rinpoche and translator of many masters including H.H. Denma Locho Rinpoche, H.E. Trulshik Rinpoche, H.E. Shechen Rabjam Rinpoche, Garje Kamtrul Rinpoche, Lati Rinpoche, etc.

Ven Tenzin Jamchen studied for many years in Dharamsala’s Institute of Buddhist Dialectics and Drepung Monastery; and then later, on the advice of H.H. Dalai Lama, at Shechen Monastery in Nepal.
